Triple flail mower for maximum capacity
The new TRIWING triple flail mower combines high capacity with a high fuel efficiency. A completely newly developed suspension of all three mowers enables a smooth terrain adaptation and so a high driving speed. The direct drive of the side mowers by Walterscheid PTO shafts results in a substantial limitation of energy loss in the drive line and thus in a lower fuel consumption.
The side mowers are driven by two very powerful Walterscheid drive shafts. The transfer from PTO shaft to the drive shafts is done by two automatic tensioned V-belt transmissions. The absence of one central gearbox increases the reliability of the machine substantially.
The heavy duty side mowers are suspended to a special support frame which enables them to optimally adapt to the terrain outlines.
Because of the soil pressure relief system the capacity of the 3.20 m (10’6’’) side mowers is optimally utilized. The front mower has an unmatched terrain adaptation as well, due to the towed suspension, a pendulum piece and easily adjustable ground pressure relief.
The rear cover of the flail mowers can be opened which enables bulky crops such as maize straw and green manure to be processed faster and with less resistance (thus saving fuel).
