PERFECT-Sort deep-learning sortware

State of the art fruit sorting

At the Fruit Logistica in Berlin, PERFECT introduces PERFECT-Sort, the latest Deep Learning technology for its Uni-Grader sorting machines. This high-end technology will accelerate the digitization of fruit sorting. PERFECT-Sort is completely new and developed on the basis of Artificial Intelligence technology. PERFECT- Van Wamel has collaborated with former employees of Radboud University Nijmegen and input from users worldwide.

During the development of PERFECT-Sort, extra attention was paid to ease of use. The system is very easy to operate and works intuitively. This allows the user to easily select classes and quickly compile a customer/product specification. Information is displayed logically and clearly. The system also generates valuable data that can be used in a different way, such as in an ERP system.

The PERFECT Deep-Learning technology ensures an optimal sorting result under all circumstances. It enables the user to respond exactly to the specifications of (retail) customers and what the market demands at that moment. With PERFECT-Sort, customers continue to grow by maximizing the yield of their product.

An optimal sorting of apples and pears

needed on the machine and also waste is further reduced.

The PERFECT Uni-Grader cup sorting machines have been developed on the basis of 30 years of experience in sorting technology and have a very good reputation. Even ‘difficult’ fruits such as Conference pears are perfectly sorted using accurate and fruit-friendly techniques.

Existing PERFECT machines of the Uni-Grader generation can eventually also be equipped with the new PERFECT-Sort Artificial Intelligence system.
